As for a quality inline that would be more conical bullet friendly, look at a White Rifle. They come in a number of different calibers. Doc White also has his own website and sells kits very reasonable. The White G Series .504 caliber is known for the ability to shoot conical bullets with outstanding accuracy. You could then get your own mold, make your own and would not have to deal with the sabot factor. You would have an excellent target rifle, hunting rifle, and just shooting rifle.......

I have a Black Diamond XR made by Thompson Center and it is an excellent conical shooting rifle as well as sabots. Just something to get you looking.....
