cnhntr - I understand your point, however, I haven't seen that many big deer. Dead or alive. I had the opportunity to take this deer, even though he may not seem to be a trophy by most standards, so I took him. My cousin was with me and he has taken deer that were bigger. But, he was just as excited as I was on my first rack. I have heard people say they always look bigger through the scope. Now I know what they mean. Besides, now I can go into the woods knowing that my next buck must be bigger. All-in-all, just a good starting point for me.
