My point is that it's more of a personal preference and not so much an elite bowhunters and lazy rifle hunters type of an attitude.
That's an accurate assessment. I know some rifle/bowhunters that are excellent deer hunters. As a matter of fact one of the most successful hunters that I know, when it comes to killing big deer, hunts with a rifle as much as he does with a bow. I am just not as impressed by his gun kills as I am by his bow kills. Consequently, I spend 99% of my time with a bow in my hand because I have been on both sides of the coin in the past and I know it's not as personally gratifying when I kill a big one with a gun.
