For me it was the last day of hunting season. In idaho we don't have things as good as many of you guys. The seasons are short, and not a lot of deer per sq. mile. At least where i hunt. I hold off until the end, last 2 years i have shot does on the last days of the season. I always hold out, but i have never been able to get close to anything larger than a 8 point. But overall i am a meat hunter, so i didn't even hesitate when my large bodies deer walked into the clearing... Big body= lots of meat. Small antlers= no big deal, cherry on top of my sundae! lol

now if only i can get a elk with my bow on the 10th, then i will be a happy camper who has a fridge full of meat!
