In the morning the thermals will rise as the day wears on, so I would hunt higher in the morning to keep your scent from traveling up the mountain. In the evening the thremals will fall as the air cools and your scent will go downhill. I would hunt lower in the evening to keep your scent from traveling down to the deer.
