Yeah!! All good thinking......and your right about these cameras, they are worth the time & money, especially if you sighted a cat put that camera up and leave it be, chances are it will return, they are VERY territorial. If we all get ready with cameras, and do some tracking, this topic will become so much easier for the non-believers. I think with the large influx of trail cameras in the last 2 years some pictures are sure to be taken of these cats.Just a few short years ago trail cams were still hundreds of dollars but now they are as cheap as $50 and countless folks make their own.
Seems like everyone I know that hunts has at least one so with all these eyes in the woods 24/7 we should see some pics of the large cats.I do find it very plausible that the western cougars could migrate east.
