In my opinion Vang was never shot at. Everybody here knows that if there was any evidence of that the media would be saying that he came under fire and had no choice to shoot back. He was the first and only one who shot. It has never been said that any shell casings were found from differant guns. Very few of the other hunters were armed, and to my knowledge, none of them had SKS's. It would be all over if any evidence was found that he was shot at first. Even if that would have been the case, that doesnt explain him running guys down in the woods and shooting them in the back. I heard that he said to one of them after he shot them once, Oh you fu#ker your not dead.
when you put a gun in the face of someone who grew up in a war zone bad things will happen one way or another. I guess all I'm saying is you dont know what happened so its really hard to judge whats justified or not...... then he could very well have thought that it was them or him.
All i have to say to that is that he has lived in America for somewhere near 25 years and is an experienced "hunter," if you can call him that. He has been caught trespassing before, probably at that same place. Living in America for 25 years, i highly doubt that he would think he is going to get killed. He knew he was doing something wrong, and if he didnt well he should have, there is no excuse for climbing in somebody elses stand. Even if it is on public land.

His wife and kids were not with him, he was in their deer stand, he deserved to be humiliated.
You say you think he should be strung up, then you start talking like your on his side, i think he should be strung up by his nuts and let the families of those hunters hear him scream. Maybe they were threatening him and waving their guns, but talk is cheap. He was not harmed in any way, and he killed six people and wounded two more. There is no excuse whatsoever for that.
