RE: Ethics!
CRAAAZY !!! I agree that the guy should get a short rope and a high bridge, but considering his background if he was outnumbered, and the guys were waving guns, then he could very well have thought that it was them or him. the victims may very well have pointed guns and threatened him. We had a rancher around here whos son liked to catch people crossing their property(the ranch is checkerboarded one section public, one private and about 400,000acres), pull them over, then get out w/ a AR-15, put it in their face and bully/threaten/intimidate/humiliate the unsuspecting party. I saw him at the local bar after one such incident and he was rolling with laughter about this guy and his wife and two little kids who hed just jumped. I calmly walked over got about 1/2" from his face face and told him he was a chicken **** coward and hed better memorize my truck because if he comes at my vehicle in that manner when my wife and kids are in there hes gonna get killed no questions asked until the sheriff and coronor show up. So as bad as this guy seems, you never know for sure. when you put a gun in the face of someone who grew up in a war zone bad things will happen one way or another. I guess all I'm saying is you dont know what happened so its really hard to judge whats justified or not. The bottom line is common sense and courtesy may have kept this from happening, think how differently this would have turned out if they had invited into their camp rather than running him off. Its just sad.
