23 is young... trust me, I am 24 and I feel like I am 40 most of the time! Kids take a heck of a lot out of you! I love mine, don't get me wrong, but if I had it to do over again, I would've waited until I was 25 to START having kids!!! I started at 18 and my oldest is already in school!!! Now that I am divorced and with someone new, after we get married we plan on having a child together, so sometime in the next few years, I am going to have to basically start all over again, because there will be such an age gap.

Kids are fun, and it is exciting to think about what it will be like when they hunt and it's fun to share their joy as they learn new things, but patience comes with age and 18 didn't bring much patience... Get all of your wild days out and do everything you ever wanted to do before kids, because it will be a good 8 years before they are old enough to provide companionship for things like hunting and whatnot, and it is awfully hard to find time in the woods when you have to find a sitter for 2 of them under the age of 6!

Kids are a joy, but the fun stuff doesn't always come right away... don't rush things!

Just my .02 cents worth! sorry...
