Default RE: Adventures in Traditional Archery

Toxo and Floxter I had a bad day so as you guys read this picture the sound of violin music in the air. I missed the shoot at Detroit Archers on Saturday because of my backed up drain that caused my toilet to pour all over the floor and into the basement. The drain was still backed up Sunday and my wife says stop fooling around and call a real plumber. I agree so I say I'll call him on Monday and I still have time to go shoot with my pals Floxter and Toxo if I hurry. On the way there a foreign car spins out at a high rate of speed and heads straight for me going towards him at also a high rate of speed. With no time to hit my breaks even I swerve off the road and miss a head on collision by inches. Two hours later I'm still driving around in circles listening to the Gospell Hour on my radio(which I scaned over to from the Oldies station after my near death experience)lost, confused and looking for Floxters Detroit Archers which seemed to move since I last was there. I finally arrive to late to shoot in the competition by two and a half hours. But I am informed by a dozen smiling faces who where also rubbing there hands together that I just happen to be in time for the money shoot. Needless to say I could not hit the broad side of Detroit Archers two feet away the first round. Having warmed up I shot not to bad the second round but by then it was to late to win the much needed 100 dollars that was first prize. Now I'm not one to make excuses or seek sympathy but not only did I miss my Monday night trad league but the plumber just left my house tonight 300 dollars richer. How is that for a sad tale of woe?
