Well I'll try to make this as short as possible. I went to the gun range again the other day to shoot my rem. 700 30-06. Well, after a few shots I noticed I was hitting a little off. The week before I was hitting great groups at 100 yards. So I figured it was just me. The night before the opening day in W.V. I was double checking all of my gear. I looked at my rifle and noticed my bushnell elite scope was marred on the bottom where it meets the front part of the weaver mounts. I was curious what caused this so I decided to remove the scope to get a better look. Once I removed the top of the rings I noticed the scopes finish was worn off on the bottom. I was not a happy man. Upon further inspection I found out the front screw on the front base had broken and a piece was still in the gun! Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any advice? Counting to ten doesn,t work....
