RE: Is gun camo really necessary?
I'm with strut&rut. I believe movement is much more important than camo choice. Lots of people still hunt in army woodlands style camo and are successful. I also have read about people that hunt turkeys with traditional colonial clothing, no camo at all! I've even heard that some people will wear some blaze orange (like a hat for example) for safety sake. I've personally had turkeys walk right next to me at about 15 paces and not spook...my shotgun is NOT camoed.
