Default RE: Is gun camo really necessary?

After this past deer season, I'm even starting to wonder how important camoflauge is in the first place. I called flocks of hens within 10 yards on 5 different occasions, with different conditions each time. With blaze orange on, these birds didn't seem to care until I started cutting rapidly and loudly.

I've never camoed my gun and have always taken turkeys---not too important.

I'm starting to think more & more that turkeys are just like deer---they depend more on improper movement than on actual sight. Hence, you can have a shiny gun barrel but you better not move it too much, or that big ol' Tom will be outta' there!!!
