I belong to a hunt club in New Jersey, I am also the treasurer. We are not required to call in ahead of time and as far as bringing guests, I tell my members that they can but don't abuse the privelidge. I even put that ito the bylaws of our club. One thing about being in a club is hunting pressure. I find that the deer are spooked more than usual. Also, certain areas can get crowded. I tell my members to check the area thoroughly before hanging a stand just so they are not crowding other members. then you have your yahoos that like to walk around and still hunt when actually all they are doing is pushing the deer around and spooking them.
