Just as nubo said,skin him from behind the front shoulder down around the front legs,the more hide the taxidermist has the better.Be sure not to cut the hide or nick it as its more work for the taxidermist and may not turn out as nice as you would like.If you havent caped out a deer before then maybe you are best to get someone who has, and help along the way.Best way to learn,and take your time.Take the head and hide into the taxi and he will take care of the rest.Another thing,I find it best to cape a deer when its hung for a few days and cold,seems to come off alot easier.
