I got back yesterday from a cow elk hunt near Craig, CO. I can't believe what a great time I had. My dad and I were able to get the time to hunt together for the first time in a very long time. And with him being 70, who knows now many times we'll be able to do something like this again. For anyone whose dad was a great teacher and inspiration as a hunter, like mine was / is GO hunting together while you can! I shot a very large cow and darn it, Dad missed his shot. We split the meat though, so we'll both be eating good this year. Now if I could just fill another deer tag..... Jim
