RE: whats up with the weather??
I tend to think the weather regarding temperature does play some role in deer movement. Depending on location. Northern Deer in the late fall early winter months have their winter coat on and tend to move less when the temp gets above 55 degrees. This is due to their inability to perspire over a large area and reduce their body temperature. They do not reduce heat through exhalation either. Southern deer probably do not develop as dense of a winter coat. Deer are incredibly capable of adapting to the exsisting elements. Do they still move, absolutely however it is not their normal amount or typical pattern. This has been documented in several studies including ones by Alshimer and Bernier as noted in their books.
