when you lean against say a door jamb with your thumb pointed up, that's low wrist. Now pull the heel of your hand back off the door jamb, to varying degrees. That will be medium or high wrist, depending on the angle. While you're at it remove your hand from the door jamb, but keep the low wrist angle. Now try to flop your hand from side to side.
