Whereabouts are you hunting? It's been 20 years since I hunted chukars in the Richland area outside of the Tri-Cities and I miss it every year! We lived in Kennewick and hunted that side of the river as well. The pheasant were always good, and we did pretty well on quail, but I loved walking the ridge sides in the sagebrush for chukars ..

Next time you go out to hunt, kiss the ground you are hunting on .. here in the east, the grouse and woodcock I have to hunt now in no way can compare to the hunting as I remember it in your area.

We hunted GSP's, what do you hunt with? I'd give my left arm to spend a few days hunting back there......
