Denatured alcohol is bought at the hardware store in the paint department. You can also use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) for the same thing.
I would not do anything to the bore until I have a chance to shoot the rifle. Many of them right out of the box are nail drivers. No use taking the chance of changing that until you confirm there is a problem.
Also if you get a chance to get to a Cabela's get some 375 grain Buffalo Bullet SSB sabots and put 100 grains of Pyrodex under them and touch them off. I think you will like the accuracy and the down range energy will floor you.
I shoot a Black Diamond XR which is the same barrel just a different action. Good luck with your rifle. The one you have would be my choice too if I were to get an Omega.
