The hardest part about starting is making sure your getting a good deal on your equipment. I have mixed opinions on pro shops. Some are just out to sell you something. Some will actually take the time to teach you something. Good Luck. I would agree with deerslayer find some ppl in your area you know and go to the same pro shop.
