Many people talk about how much blood their deer lost, but really, it takes a just a ton of blood on the ground to equal a mere cup.
You got that right. For example in training my dog, I use 2 oz of blood that covers about 50 yards (a few drops every two to three feet). Even with that little amount of blood it would be very easy for an experienced hunter to follow it.
