As far as trails go, anything I can walk and just look forward without bending over and see blood is a great trail.
I was going to say the exact same thing. If I can stand at one spot of blood and without having to bend over or get down to find the next spot, I consider it a good trail. I've always called those "stand up bloodtrails". An "awesome" trail is one where I can see the deer laying on the ground from my stand.
