i started duck hunting with a turkey gun .... and i did very well with it ... you are going to miss birds no matter what .... so if ya cant afford a new gun id just be happy with what ya have and go with it ... its all about being out there and having fun in the first place .... but i wouldnt sweat it ..... if ya have doubts go kill sum clays and see how ya do .....good luck
