Default Deer Decoy

I'm real excited about shotgun season opening on 11/12. The area I get to hunt is a tax ditch that I have a bout 500 yds to view. I have two stands to hunt, one is mine exclusively and the other we share. The problem is a culvert that crosses the ditch 220 yards from the closest stand, and is on an adjoining property. The deer use the culvert to cross and are out of shotgun range as well on other property. The parcel of land with the culvert is leased but isn't hunted. Does anyone have any ideas on how to kill that crossing and redirect the deer to crossing closer to us. I am considering using my 3D target as a decoy. It has minimal use because pulling the arrows is a big pain by yourself, even with slick stuff on the arrow. I would like any input on decoy use, because I have never tried it before. Should I use scents? I'm hesitant to use an estrous scent because I don't want to have a real doe in estrous shy away. Should I put the decoy in full view, say over a corn pile, or partially in view at the edge of the woods? Thanks for any input!
