RE: slobs stole my deer at gunpoint
Sorry to hear about the loss...some people need to be eliminated from the gene pool...
A friend of mine that deer hunts at my camp had a similar thing happen with a 6 X 6 elk about 25 years ago. He shot the elk, it ran about 50 yards over a ridge and died. He started to gut it and he heard a noise behind him. Turning around, he saw a man with his rifle pointed right at him. The man asked him if he shot the elk...Bill said yes and the man said, "No you didn't". There were some words exchanged, and Bill finally left...heartbroken.
He said that he went high on the ridge about 300 yards away while the guy finished dressing the elk. He said he contimplated shooting him. He was a little tempermental in his younger years...and honestly I'm surprised he didn't. I agree that no animal is worth murder...but it makes you think.
Sad thing is that this was his only elk huntng trip ever...He did manage a spike the next day, though.
