I'm sure he doesn't have all the deer on his property numbered and filed in order. If he gets a chance at this buck and passes him up, how does he go about finding it again in two years? This is a trophy for his area and the biggest he's seen on the property is much smaller. It's unreasonable to ask a guy to pass on the biggest buck he's ever seen. I say shoot it. It's a nice buck and would make a great mount. Then, in the future years, you can challenge yourself to finding a bigger one. I've shot a few nice bucks and I wouldn't mind shooting that one.
