Default RE: Sighting in my scope

Lady Forge
Mark was right on... here is something to use as an example

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...der/Target.jpg

On this target the upper group of bullets need to move about 1/2" right. If the target was at 50 yards I would need to adjust the windage 4 clicks/marks to the right. If the target was at 100 then 2 clicks right

POA on the target indicate "point of aim"

At 50 yards this group might be a little high also so I would need to adjust the scope elevatiion down about 1". At 50 yards that would be 8 clicks/marks down and at a 100 - 4 clicks down.

The lower group should come 1" right and up 1". This 50 and 100 results might be pretty close to the same. The adjustment at 50 and 100 would be different. This all in the assumption that your scope moves in 1/4 minute clicks at 100 yards.

hope this helps
