I would have have given that Doe 15 mins and gone and gotten her. We are talking about a Doe not a mature buck. She won't run nearly as far or as long. Maybe if you jumped her once and she ran strong but Does can't take that kind of damage and live for very long.
Fair enough. 15 minutes on a liver hit deer would not be long enough, not even close. Granted big old tough bucks will NORMALLY take a little longer to die then a younger deer. But 15 minutes on any liver hit is not good practice.
