Jerry, I'm not trying to piss you off. I'm only pointing out the obvious. We don't know what the other person did because you went home. I'm sorry you lost the deer. I would have done things different. I'm being chastised for my answer and all I did was state another opinion. I don't think you should have left the scene. Don't take it as any endorsement for someone else going home with your deer because it wasn't meant that way.

I think the best expirience you can have is that first kill. To see someone jump around after the shot like you were able to expirience makes it all worth while. It would have been better if he could have recovered his deer.
