I'm holding out for one of the monsters on my private property. I'll be hunting a special permit only hunt Dec 6 and 7 at a place that has never been open to hunting before. Supposedly, the next IL state record will come out of this park. So don't count me out until the end. I've seen a lot of good deer - just waiting for a real nice one. It wouldn't make sense to shoot a 6pt 100" when I have the chance at something massive later in the season.
