but if your smart with your shot.. there should not be wounded deer
Sorry but things happen and there will always be wounded animals, you can reduce the percentage but ol Murphy is always around the corner.
Deer are alive and react to shots even when you think they are totally relaxed. The only way to asure no wounded deer is to stay home.

I got my first deer last year.. a small 8 with a 12 spread.. thats big for our area..
That say's alot after you've been hunting for awhile you'll understand how even the perfect shot can and will go bad.
