hey Butch, I wish I knew you did not have a muzzleloader.....I have a few extras that I could have "loaned" ya. I was in your area (well, amybe a little north of you.......just outside of Fredericksburg) Sunday-Wednesday.
I got a big 4 point on Monday night huge deer with a little rack. Wanted to take a few does but did not see any that were shooters. Had some IDIOT walking through the land I was on (private property) making all sorts of noise about 40 min before sunset......he walked about 50 yards from my stand across the creek and right up the ontside of the fence line. About 10 min before sunset he was walking right down the middle of the field, crossed the fence line walked about 10 yards from me waved as I asked him WTF he was doing and who the heck he was. He just kept walking and never saud a word. Idiot was carrying a shotgun and did not even have an orange on. I told the land owner and he said he had no clue who it could have been since you have to go across their front yard to get to the place I was sitting. That idiot ruined the last night I had to hunt. Oh well......such is live. I will get down there (a 6 hour dive) again in the next few weeks.
