During bow season with light pressure, I typically am in the stand 30-45 minutes before shooting time (1/2 hour before sunrise). During rifle season, I typically am there 1 to 1 1/2 before shooting time. There is lots of pressure here and no one is coordinated. This way I am first in and I never find anyone sitting in my spot...... They find me and then move on.
