I've been searching through the DFG site and have actually hunted the Grizzly Island Reserve before. It actually seemed dangerous at the time as their were a lot of people out and about, and not all of them were as safety conscious as we would like them to be. The BLM seems to have little pockets of land hidden, that might not see as much activity as the big reserves. I always love talking to neighbors who say "oh yeah, I think the BLM has 80 acres over that next hill".
