I hunt on hundreds of acres of private land in Alleghany county in NY...it holds the most bucks per square mile in our state.... also holds the record for the two NYS records of both typical and non-typical bucks so yes there are small bucks here but let them walk and the next morning instead of being in the cabin cuz u filled your buck tag you will be out again and hopefully the big guy will come strolling along. Also we experimented with food plots and they dont hurt we are also building a pond this year so that should be great to see what happens with that come deer season.
