Not sure what shotgun you have, but I have the Remington 11-87 and I had a problem last year, it would eject the spent shell, but it wouldn't cycle a fresh shell from the magazine to the chamber. What it ended up bein was the simple rubber O ring, cost a few cents at a plumbing supply store
