I read the story and thought the same thing as you did kec. The guy said he spotted the buck in the woods behind his house and he walked through the woods a few times and jumped it but couldnt get a shot. He then decided to let it come back into his yard and he would take it out the window. Dont get me wrong I'm sure this happens all the time and very well may be legal, but I dont think this should be bragged up in a hunting magazine.
