A word of caution concerning rawhide and muzzles. First, I have seen dogs tear off large pieces of rawhide and have them lodge in the intestines. This can be FATAL! Secondly, NEVER put a muzzle on a dog when you are not there! If the dogs has to vomit, he cannot do it with a muzzle on and will die! I'm with Doc E on the kennel run. If correctly designed and built it is a safe, protected, controlled enviroment for your dog.
Very correct. The two most common reasons for abdominal surgery in dogs is due to either rawhide or gastric torsion.
