I use Black Hawk 3000's, Carbonwood at 29 and 3/8ths.. with a 2 blade 125 gr Magnus vented. and have no Problems with Penatration . I shoot a Chek Mate falcon Deluxe 46 lb at 27 in . I draw 28.5 so Im at about 50 LBs. I ahve had Pass thrus on Bear and Mulies, at 15 to 25 yards. But have had good penetraion even if hitting ribs. Most of the time they break ribs and touch the otherside
