Who says im ever going to ask for permission to get a buck off their land? Iowa law permits me to do so as long as i have no weapon with me. I guess call me a dick if thats what you're thinking, but how can you be civil with somebody who knowingly goes into your land and shoots your deer? do you think some slob trying to shoot or poach a trophy whitetail is really going to care about some little note you stapled to the tree? we've already tried the civil approach. the DNR didnt do jack squat. talking to them didnt help. i get so frustrated with these kind of people who think its ok to just walk across teh fence and hunt as they please. i guess im just venting this stuff..its really not fun when you intensely manage your land and put the time in scouting adn making food plots to see some of these bucks poached or shot by tresspassers.
