Default RE: I would rather spend $500

I think a good proshop makes all the difference. The one I use is great. Maybe it's because they're new, but ever since I bought my bow, I can bring it in for anything and they take great care of me. For example, yesterday I went in with a small problem with my peep sight. They fixed it, and when they saw that my silencer was falling apart, they replaced it with a string leach for free. Any little thing, like some new tubing or a minor adjustment is done gratis. They know that a happy customer is a return customer. And, when I get my next bow, or a new bow for one of my boys (or my wife, if I can ever talk her into it), their's is the first place I'll stop. I have a bunch of their cards in my wallet, and if I'm in Wal-Mart or talking bowhunting with a buddy, I'll pass them a card. It's just good business.

Thats what competition is about. If your dissatisfied with your pro shop, hopefully there is another one you can turn to. It might be worth a bit more of a drive just to get that extra level of service.

I'd tell you all the name of this place, but then this post would sound too much like a commercial. It's in NW Illinios, if you'd like to know shoot me an email.

BTW, I once spent $500 on a hot dog. It was at a casino in Vegas (well, I guess the $$ was spent more at the craps table, but the hot dog WAS free!). LOL
