Hello and welcome to the forums....That was my very first post when I joined a few months back. I live In jersey and the bear pop is out of control,I like to bait but I wont till shotgun comes Dec 6-11. So the answer I got is Theres nothing you could do about it, Bears eat anything. Try putting down Deer cocain, Buck Grub I used both this year with mixed results with deer. But no bears went near it. Other then that just use scents and hunt the right spots, Good Luck
