With a scope you really need to get your hands on the thing and do some looking through it to tell how much you really like it. I have a Bushnell Banner Dusk to Dawn on one of my inlines. It is nice and clear and seems to gather light very well.

Your making a good choice in getting something more then the 4.5 power scope. I have a 1.5 X 4.5 Banner. It works fine but with my old eyes, I sure would appreciate a bigger power at the real long range shooting. More so for checking things like a spotting scope VS the actual shooting. I am sure the Banner would do you fine.
