Your probably right. . .I just had spent a little bit of time browsing the cabelas catalog looking at the various ML they have to offer. the reason I keyed on it is because I have a Springfield 6X40 and was wondering to myself if it is suited for the ML products. After my read I thought yes, so that opens the door for me to buy the ML and move my scope from my .270 over the the ML and then pick up a new loopy for my .270.

But with thayt said it also sounds like you are stating much the same in that most of the ML packages come with scopes at the lower power end of things. That is the message I was trying to send as well.
