Don't know how well the solar panels work.
I bought a cheap trail camera from Walmart. It uses a 35 mm camera and the batteries last maybe 2 weeks at best. Which is usually OK because the 24 exposures are used up long before that unless I have the camera in a really remote area.
We have a lot of turkey that like to pose for the camera. If I put it in the wrong place the film can be used up the first day! Would like to get a digital camera so that I can take more pictures. Some digital cameras advertise battery life in months, not weeks (or days).
Got a pretty eerie picture a couple weekends ago. Appropriate for Halloween I guess. Picture taken on a foggy morning with the buck's head about 2 feet from the camera.
