I just cooked up some venison steaks that had been in my freezer for nearly a year and were not wrapped that great. I cut off the slight freezer burn, threw them on the grill and they tasted like they were fresh out of the woods. I had some roasts left over as well and made 4 pounds of jerky which turned out great.
