Knight.45,W/3-9x Scope;180gr Hornaday HP/XTP over 130gr Clean Shot(Loose).I would/could make a clean kill out to 150.Up the bullet to 200-220gr,I would attempt and be confident out to 200yrd,clean kill with this gun.(that's a braodside shot with gun rested,no wind).

IMO any modern Smoke Pole,side lock or in line,"Set up Correctly",in the hands of a Man/Woman who "Knows the Weapon" can make a clean kill at 200yrds.Our great grand daddys did it with 1/2 the gun we all shoot with today!
