I will be adding a scope to my Knight riffle soon.

Should I leave the open sights on and mount the scope with the 1 in raised mounts?

Or mount the scope as close as possable to the gun using regular scope mounts and take the open sights off?

How often do you get to use the open sights with a scoped blackpowder rifle anyway?
