I have used a 30" & a 24" on my turkey gun. I will say the old 30" barrel shot 3" mags with 2 oz. of #6's just about as well as any gun I have shot. it dosn't have choke tubes but it rocks! I now use a 24" just because of getting around in the woods, does it shoot better with the fancy choke tubes? yeck no! I just wen for something shorter for convience more than anything. I do think the 30" barrel hit harder, but thats just my perception.
